Useful first
Beauty matters more when the object earns a place in daily life.
The Simple Things began with a belief that useful objects can still carry imagination, and that good curation should make choosing feel calmer.

We built The Simple Things as a home for brands that are strong enough to stand alone and thoughtful enough to sit together. The edit moves between the personal and the practical: a tote used every morning, a clutch saved for evenings, a rug that changes the feeling of a room.
We are interested in the details that reveal intention: the weight of a handle, the rhythm of a border, a palette that ages well, and a material allowed to look like itself.

Beauty matters more when the object earns a place in daily life.

Texture, handwork, and material character remain part of the finished piece.

A clear edit creates confidence and leaves space for each maker to be understood.

We prefer pieces with enough character to outlast a passing mood.
The Simple Things takes shape around a small group of product-led Indian brands.
Bags, occasion pieces, and natural-fiber carpets form a broader but still focused home.
Nia Vida, Uniqa, Celeste, and Indi Roots each receive a fuller space of their own.
